Where around here are there still junk yards that let you "wander"? I thought most put a stop to that practice a number of years ago due to the legal implications.

Well I got my oil changed out to 5w-40 Synthetic today and got a sample of the old oil for a BlackStone analysis.

I attempted to change my fuel filter, but that's a long story and to just make it a short one. Didn't happen.

Yup. Kit is free analysis is 22.50$ and make sure your oil is hot when you change it and don't get the first or last oil out of the pan. Get the middle oil.

Matt I do a report from Blackstone every other oil change. The analysis can be done with just about any type of oil/motor - you just need to fill out a form that comes with the sample container to tell them what type of oil/engine/mileage etc so they know what how to read the results.
It can tell you a lot about your motor and how it is wearing. They also can do tranys. I think it is like $24 but they can also do a viscosity check for an extra $10 to see about extending your oil change intervals. They send you a container and you just send it back with your oil sample for them to test. Then you get a e-mail in a week or two with the results.

We will be installing new sports lights at the little league field. Its right behind the middle school, off society rd. Next week we will be moving equipment in, the following week we will be on site 10 hrs a day.

This summer we have a job installing lights at the Waterford soccer field.

Morning Connecticut!
Stopped raining in Newington at least.
