brian, when you split the guage cluster apart to clean it, polish the clear part and it will look better than new.

oh i plan on doing that, after the truck gets back from the bodyshop...again. im just not too enthused about having to take the dash apart. i wish i had a factory tach to put in so i wouldnt have to take the dash apart twice, but w/e.

Brian,
Static got it in there behind the bezel.
I had this issue because I'm often so dusty from work.

FWIW, I picked up a nice tach cluster for my truck when my voltmeter went out.
It was only $12 on Ebay.
It cost me more in new bulbs (I checked the Mylar circuity and replaced them all before I installed it)

Holiday???

I took the day off because I'd only have a half day after my doggie volunteer duty and it's a 45 minute drive down county to install windows, facia and soffits.
Uggg, there's nothing more fun than standing on a plank right under the drip line of a roof trying to get productive with water running down your neck.

I was about to ask "what holiday", but then I remembered that you are a mass-hole so it must be that ridiculous Patriot Day that you folks get off
