water pump sealing procedure is common for all 3.0 engines... so you can follow any manual about this. this procedure does not depend on application (FWD ore RWD).

some tips...
look at autozone.com for manual

clean surfaces and use solvent before U use sealant

use new gaskets....

torq bolts according specification in correct order.

))))
1 hour job! I belive, you will get no leak!

Some of the bolts are different lengths, so it's a good idea to keep track of where each one was removed.

Tighten the bolts to 75-106 lb/in using a criss-cross pattern.

A few of the bolts that secure the water pump also help secure the timing chain cover, and presumably that is why the Haynes Manual suggests putting some pipe dope on the threads of those bolts. However, the '01 Ford Service Manual does not mention anything about using a sealer on any of the bolt threads...

i found the info in chilton pro manual.the long bolt (on far pass side) needs sealer on threads and shaft, to ensure it wont leak a drop or two if the tmg/cvr gasket is older. which is my case, OE down to the shocks (100k). Put rad/gask sealer in for time being.when weather warms up, i am going to replace all front gaskets as well as timing chain while im in there. thanks for help, men.
