looking for the "right" part...

Hey guys/gals... here's the deal, I have narrowed my faulty 4WD down to a bad elec shift motor in the transfer case. (98 rngr-xlt 3.0 vin u) i am trying to find a cost efficiant replacement. my truck has over 238K on it and i am reluctant to spend the $400 the dealer asks. Any suggestions on where to get a decent one? any one recommend a good brand name?

Find the post on this site that describes cleaning the position locator contacts - the motor itself rarely goes bad.
