Thanks guys. I've been working on this truck over 10 years and I'm down to the small details that take forever to do. I know you guys know what I mean.
Cyclone, the dollies are from Harbor Freight. They did pretty good but moving the truck took several people.
Finally scoped out your Tread and glad I did. Usually bypass "flatbeds" because I have a step side. Your truck is beautiful. I love the color and if I wasn't committed to Banner Blue that's the color I would choose. Looking forward to you "laying the wood" Keep up the good work.
fljab, So I've been restoring the F4 for a friend and it was his brother who made the bed. The brother owns a metal shop and I gave him the drawing files that Bob made. There are a few differences between an original bed and this one but they're very close. Not sure if this helps you or not. I could ask the owner if his brother would be willing to make another one if you'd like.
It looks like he did a pretty good job. I am no where near ready for one right now, but I am reading up. I read all 6 pages of this thread twice as I thought at first you bought it from one of the companies linked a few pages back. When I saw you had it built, then had to ask who did it as we are fairly close to one another. The original beds are still out there but no luck in our corner of the world; probably would need to look out west.

If you're ever in the FWB area and want to see the truck/flatbed in person just let me know.
Thought I'd share some pics of the finished truck. Thanks again to Bob for making the plans for the flatbed! I put roughly 7 coats of varnish on the Red Oak boards. Getting ready to mount the bed. definitely needed help to lift the bed in place and bolt it down.
Thanks for the compliments guys. I really enjoyed building this truck and am itching to restore another one. The bed is roughly 6x9 feet and I would like to build stake sides for it eventually. The stake sides would definitely complete the look.
