Power window making noises

My driver and passenger side power windows make noises (popping and grinding type noise) when rolling down and up. Its been doing this for years and they both work properly but the noise is really getting at me. What makes this even more odd is that it doesn't do it when it's cold outside. I took the door panels off to see if there was any interferences or broken pieces and there wasn't. Any of you guys out there have this problem?

Try lubing the mechanisms with graphite spray , WD40 , or the such. Make sure the cable drive isn't just loose laying in the door. Lube the tracks too.

i used spray lithium white grease to lube the track and glass guides. take the panel off, put window 1/2 way open, and spray all the slides, wheels, and guides.
