I like the 90's style, but I'm just really partial to the boxy-but-sloped front ends of the 87-90 pickups.

87 of course, I like having the "newer" style, but I got no emissions or injection BS. I am however partial to the 92-97 front end and plan on making that swap this summer. I'll look like a 97 but only have to deal with the legal BS of a 87. My brother has himself a 2002 PSD, but I'd rather build my old box then buy a newer SD.

I have always thought both the superduty's and the 70's trucks are kinda ugly, it's the hood shape. However if I was after a street truck it would be a 61-2 unibody, those trucks are sliiiick. I used to work on one that had a 427 SOHC in it, that was sweeet.

love the look of the 80-86s, but drivetrain and technology wise, gotta agree, i love my 89. got the reliability of fuel injection, but with only the bare minimum in sensors and computer restrictions.

Anythning afer 1980 and before 1997. Fuel injection is great but I'd much rather work on a carb.

IMHO the 2008 Superduty is hands down the best looking and best built truck that Ford has.

Love my '95, had a '96 F350 new. Like the front bumper with the openings in it. Had a '99 and '00 SD and they're okay. Anything newer is hideous(like the newest SD).

Really like my Bumps though!!!

My favorite years is the 92-96 series but, I can't forget some of the classic looks that I also love.
Love the '74 highboy (Big Foot 1), the '58 F trucks (the original boxy line with the twin headlights) and too many more

I'm wondering what it is about the 79 F-150 that makes you say this? I'm thinking this year would have a 9" in back, a solid 44 up front, and probably a divorced 205 transfer all good stuff. But no Dana 60, which motor, no more FE's in a 79 so either, a 351W or M? and either way no FI, I'm just curious what makes you say that?
