... Very nice! What kind of fog lamps are you running?
92-96 F150 RC/SB get my vote too. Ones with an airbag, roller cam, and MAF would be more desireable to me. Eddie Bauer or SVT trucks with the afore mentioned equipment would be so sweet...
94MustangGT,
If you're still in here, they are Halogen Auxiliary Light Kit, from Harbor Freight, $9.00 and change for a set. I went to an auto parts store for the bulb, when it went, and it's $6 and change. Let's do the math. 3 dollars more, I get another light, another glass and housing if it breaks, and another complete light for a spare. (PLUS, another wiring and switch kit.)
30 days from now, I can have the whole system replaced with just a reciept, If I choose. They are the clear lense, not amber.
As long as the truck says "FORD" on it and it looks like a "FORD", its my favorite era but the ones that had 4wd and a manual transmission from the factory I am kind of partial towards.
I have a '73 F100....and have owned a '87 F150, a '98 F150 and a '00 F150. For all around looks I like the 73-79's (In 1976, the F-series became the best-selling truck in America, starting Ford's run - for a reason), the '09's lariat trim, '97-'04's lariat trim, '92-'96's lightning, '80-'86's, '87-91' 4wd lariats in that order. Just my 2 cents opinion. What some like, other's don't.
I have to laugh at all this. I was over in the 09 forum watching posts going back and forth over who does and doesnt like the NBS and how the 04-08 is so much better looking etc.
My favorite is def. the 92-96 trucks. I can still remember going to the dealer lot in 1991 when the first 1992s came out. I was about 11. I still remember what a big deal those trucks were and how they were not really popular in my neck of the woods (at the time). My friend's dad swore he'd never buy one of those new trucks and hang on to his 86 forever. haha, I think he's had at least 3 of the 92-96 trucks!
I guess what I'm saying is it's funny how people's opinions change over time. Some day people will look back on the 09-whatever trucks and say those were the best ever.
Personally, I prefer the looks of the nose on the 92-96's..have always liked them since new. If I was going to build a toy truck though, other than a 53-56 which I love, I think I would do a 80-86 F150 flairside 2WD, down low but not slammed on some nice wheels and fat sticky meats. Toss in a thumper carbed 460, stout C6, big stall and 4.10 or better detroit locker 9 inch...dunno what color...black is always a good bet. Simple, clean, mean and oh what fun.

But still 92-96 FTW!
+1 to you and Jason Lewis.I've always loved the 92-96's the most.Speaking of changing opinions,my dad has always hated the nose on 87-91 trucks.Well, long story short,he currently owns an 87,and he's had it for 9 years now.lol.I love all Ford F-Series trucks that were made between 73-96,and the 97 HD F250.I'm partial to my 80,since it's my first truck, but I still want a 92-96.My life's dream is to have an 80-86,87-91,and a 92-96 all at one time.If I become rich and famous,I want to have a 73,79,80,86,87,91,92,and 96,so I could have the beginning and end of the body styles.
