Torque spec's
I need the torque settings for the caliper bolts and lug nuts for a 2006 F150 FX4, 18" wheels............Anybody?

Not sure on the caliper bolts but the lug nuts are 150ft pounds

Thank's, Josh. I'm setting them now. Calipers I usually set between 25 and 30 ft lbs. I'll leave them there unless I hear different.

Shock absorber upper mounting
plate-to-frame nuts (M10) 48 35
Shock absorber-to-lower arm
bolt and nut (M20) 475 351
Stabilizer bar bracket-to-frame bolts 48 35
Stabilizer bar-to-link nut 133 98
Stabilizer bar-to-link to
lower control arm nut 90 66
Anti-lock brake sensor bolt 18 13
Caliper anchor plate-to-wheel
knuckle bolts 200 148
Caliper-to-anchor plate bolts 32 24
Looks like the last one at 24ft pounds....so your 25 should be good!

Thank's again. I redid the wheel nuts and I'll leave the calipers alone. Appreciate the info. It's printed and filed.

At two hundred pounds the torque wrench clicks and the one you hear at 375 is your cajone's hittin' the garage floor.

Guess thats why they invented torque sticks to use with your impact wrench! Gotta love the torquing power of a good Ingersol Rand impact wrench with a torque stick attached to it! Think Snap On still sells torque sticks. Don't think Sears Craftsman has them anymore.
