I originally was going to use fibreglass lowers for front, even bought them but digging around today I looked at the original lowers and decided I'm going to bend 'em back into shape. 4 1/2 years ago I didn't have as much body experience, but now I'm ready to take them on. I'm not looking for perfect,just close. I'll take them in and have them dipped for rust removal before starting.
Those are a good place to start to learn the body and sheet metal stuff and get some experience since they are a little more "out of the way" than most of the other stuff.
I think you'll find metal work a lot of fun - gotta be patient though.
