I have a 1976 F-150, it is only 2 wheel drive and i am looking to lower it rather than jack it up like the masses.....lol...My problem is i cannot find ANY aftermarket lowering kits. I would rather not go hacking away at the front coil springs and sacrifice ride quality and handeling just to get it dropped but i am about to give up on my search and go that route.
Does anyone know of an after market kit for these trucks? If not can someone atleast point me to a quality article on how to drop them without a kit? I would like to go down atleast 3 inches. any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.

Truckn.com has I beams for lowing 65-79 2wd pickups. IBE-FO6574 and IBE-FO6579 . I don't know how much lower these do, but it should be several inches.
