hahaha ok so not for the 6.0. I'm just about to do a 1600 mile drive with my truck from texas to pennsylvania and want to do all I can for the truck on this drive.

Im changing the oil here in about a week and changing my coolant filter too. Doing the breaks, and just put new steering fluid in...had to, bad luck with the power steering gear box breaking.....Just want to make sure shell make it..Im not towing anything but the bed is going to be loaded down with my extra military gear, two dirtbikes, clothes, tv, and other miscellaneous items.. Just want to make sure all is good when I go. I have confidence that shell be fine.

I'm not aware of any 6.0L owners who will stand by the Edge. Its shifting strategy is known to be very hard on our transmissions. The SCT can be customed tuned for your particular driving style.

The Edge INSIGHT is a nice piece of equipment that ONLY SERVES as GAUGES. It does not do any tuning.

That is the only Edge product I am aware of that people on here recommend.

Man this is a great thread and it convinced me to try the no ash 2 stroke oil in my fuel, and guys I gotta say that it works great, I was a little nervous at first and only added 1/4 oz per gallon of diesel and couldn't tell a difference, so I went up to the full 1oz per gallon that some guys on here where using and it starts easier on cold Oklahoma mornings and it idles much quieter, I can hardly hear my injectors now, in fact it idles so much quieter that I was able to detect an exhaust leak from the passenger side manifold. Thanks guys

Would running 2stroke oil void a Ford extended warranty?

0760, Welcome to FTE.
I don't see how they could really tell.
Because what you doing is adding an oil to an oil.
It would not like adding off road diesel with it's
heavy red dye.

But maybe someone that know more can speak up.

I agree with Yahiko on this, I don't see how they would be able to tell, or prove that added fuel lubricity somehow caused an engine failure. It's widely practiced by lots of ford and dodge owners.

They would have to send some fuel in to be tested. Which I doubt they would do.

Here is a picture of my fuel filters with 15,000 miles on them after running 2-stroke in each fueling.

The fuel in the bottle is what was drained from WIF plug.
