Yikes, That's 3x what I paid for the box. I think i'l just run it how it is for now. Once I get it all hooked up. At least until I get the money.

I'm still interested in the CrossOver steering...

Yes, I cut & welded the drag link, as well as the steering shaft. I used the but weld and sleeve system, with 'Rosettes' in the sleeve. A Rosette is several holes drilled in the sleeve at 90 deg
to eachother, for increased strength. I used a sleeve about 3" long, as you ycan see in the photos..

Read head gearboxes are high quality, but you pay for it, and get what you pay for. The box I found on Ebay was from a rebuilder, and as you can see, it monted on the outside of the frame, not on the inside, like the one you have found.. good luck amigo
