G'mornin' everyone... although there are precious few up at this hour! Especially the West Coasters/night owls (CRIS!). I'm off to run a couple miles, then hit the pool with my hot friend Renee... yum. After that, I think there are some steaks in the fridge, so I'll need to give the grill a good once-over and although I'd love to give Nyx a wash & wax, it's going to rain tomorrow so there's no real point to it...

I have decided I will never have a "puppy" in the house again. I have done more than my share of housebreaking and cleaning up after. No way. Will just keep rescuing older dogs . No more puppies. there are so many puppies at the shelter here now it is unreal. That is why I offered to help offset adoption costs to the person who wishes to adopt one or all.
Black labs and shepherd steal my heart and lana has the both going on. On Rachel ray they had a company that DNA tests dogs to let you know just what they truly are. It helps secure suitable homes for the dogs. Pretty kewl.
rain is falling. still do not know what is happening tonight. They have set the pyro shtuff up and covered it with tarps. Brownies are in the oven for sundaes, hot dogs injected, watermelon on ice....just waiting for weather to clear.

The quiet life is pretty good right now. Had a lovely call from my egg donor this morning, I didn't recognize the phone number on called ID so I answered thinking it could be my girls calling. Stupid, stupid mistake on my part. She is a piece of work.
I don't have any plans today, I heard through the family grapevine that everyone is gettng together for a BBQ and swimming. I might just stay home and finish cleaning my girls rooms before they get back tomorrow. I know how to have a good time huh?!?!
