I just heard that trucks older than a ceartain year dont need a title. anyone know anything about this?

Everything needs a title to make it legal (I think), it might not need emission testing though.

Night Jim, Hey Cris, Caleb you don't need a title in Ga. if it is over 30 year's old, unless it change this year. Best to check your state!

hmm. well whats a salvage title then? i hear you can get one of thos eif you lose your title and they are easier to get? can you drive that on the highway? man i gotta get a hold of my dmv...

I believe it is a salvage title if it is a recovered theft or is written off as totaled by an insurance company and you fix it and make it road worthy. Then you have to get it inspected to have it changed back to a clean title.

That is my understanding of things.
