Well, the car is back together and runs like a new car. I don't believe any valves were bent, compression is still very good for a car with high miles. Speaking of high miles, I was wrong about the miles on the car
And this is cast into the engine block

Jim's right, there are plenty of "fish in the sea".

I started to ask you where you'd been hiding but then read your post. Busy day here also. Lawn, weeding, fixing the fence, messing with the dogs, laundry, you name it.
I feel good about everything I accomplished. Tomorrow should be just as busy.

Thats bizarre. I've been around alot of Toyotas (most of my family are die hard Toyota fans) and I've never seen that before. What kind of Toyota is it?
I had an '86 that had actually been assembled in Japan. Part of the vin tag and all the stuff under the hood was in Japanese.

That's awesome! Every diesel VW Passat in 96 & 97 was built in Germany & shipped over here. One of the things that made me feel good about buying it. For a big truck, I'll always want American; commuter car, I'd be VERY hard pressed to buy American.
Jacob - you've got time, but the right one can be worth the effort. Just know when to cut & run!!
One thing to keep in mind Jacob, there are plenty of trees out there.
Yeah but around here half the "trees" are taken and the other half are ugly or not my type, there is very few "trees" that I would actually consider. I had thought I found the perfect "tree" for me a while ago, she was pretty, smart, down to earth, loved my truck, loved to hunt, but she only wanted to be friends.
Had a good day today. Installed my DP tuner, I've been out playing all day. Ridden in tuned trucks before but its just so much different when its your own. The power is....amazing to say the least. Gets a little squirrely in the race tune, I need tires pretty bad.
10K....thats plenty to pay for my trip up there one of these weekends!
Im jealous, i want a dp now too haha.
Also, name the weekend

I hate wearing stuff like that too man, I just detest it. Even at my uncles funeral (a man I truely respected) I wore black jeans, a muscle shirt with a black outdoors fleece ontop of it. It was the only black stuff i had that was somewhat appropriate!
Regarding women, well man you seem like a good guy. Try one time having a shot or two of whiskey to take the edge off, and just be yourself, like the non nervous guy we see on here! Once you get past that little bit of nervousness, youll be beating them women off of you with a stick!
I also need some tires. I have my mt/r's on my steelie rims on right now and my nice shiny 17 inch rims sitting in my shed, just waiting for a good deal on tires for them to get back in use!

.
1995 Corolla, 1.6L. assembled in the USA, as far as I can tell.
I thought it was funny seeing it spelled like that, especially being cast in.
interesting info...I learned something new, I can call it a day
LOL, well here's some more. This really explains why there is a Toyoda casting on a Toyota. Apparently Toyota, in the beginning, was called Toyoda (after its founder). Later, the name was changed to Toyota, and at that point the machining division became its own company, separate from the automotive division, which remained Toyoda.
