I have a Motorola W385

The last time I plugged it into the comp it first came up as a mass storage device, then all it does is charge the battery. My laptop is so old that it dosen't have bluetooth capabilitys. I have to forward pictures to my email.
I appreciate the thought but I've said it once and i'll say it again. Without my truck I'm like a 5. With the truck, I'm suddenly like an 8 or something. Its not me thats hot, its the truck. LOL

Well thats only because you need a program on your computer that is capable of communicating with the phone. Bitpim should work for you.
I appreciate the thought but I've said it once and i'll say it again. Without my truck I'm like a 5. With the truck, I'm suddenly like an 8 or something. Its not me thats hot, its the truck. I'll go out and fix something or build something and Randy will go "oh, thats nice"

I think I am going to go outside today and work on the truck a bit today. Supposed to be in the 70's. I want to install those aux marker lights today. Electrical stuff makes me nervous but I can usually handle automotive stuff. Just a power and a ground.

Good let me know if you like Bitpim. Its has a bit of a "vintage" feel to it...but read the how to's and it should be fairly self-explanatory. Somewhere on youtube is a bitpim tutorial.

Mornin' folks!! Everything's gone well so far -- hard part is over, now just a little more testing, and we're done out here.
Cris --> That's just awesome. Can't say much more than what's been said! Other than you look hot in the jumpsuit!!
Lisa --> You are most definitely more than 5!! Jeez. Women are WAAAAY tougher on themselves than most any guy would be.
Oh, and that dude that makes the vids....... Be very careful with some of the stuff he says if you're using those for working on your own trucks. I watched a few of them and there are several mistakes, or just flat wrong statements. The most valuable part is that you can see what a lot of the stuff looks like apart before you tear into something. Watch the one where he puts on a WW -- he actually pulls the valve cover off!!! LMFAO!!!! And he uses an IMPACT WRENCH to remove/install the wheel!!!

I would "assume" you are right Lisa but I do not have any wiring diagram available at work. Do you have a test light/probe? to verify that is the one with power?

You don't have to cut it to check it, Lisa. You can either follow the lead to where you can get a probe on it, or pierce the insulation. Then wrap a piece of electrical tape, or swipe a dab of silicone on it where you made the hole.
