The exact key sequence depends on the brand of laptop. Typically, there will be a button labeled "Fn" in the lower left corner of the keyboard. Also, one the "Function Buttons" (F1, F2...F12) will have either CRT/LCD or a box-type logo that's supposed to represent a monitor on it. Hold the "Fn" key, and tap the corresponding Function button (F8 on the Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop I'm currently using). You may need to press it several times, but wait a few seconds between each press to give the monitor time to respond.
Thanks Brendan. It's a Gateway, and as Dan suggested, it had the picture of the monitor next to the F4 button. Just for good measure I held the Fn button and tried every other key as well.. I did notice some fraying in her wires to the charger where the ground wire shielding seems to be chaffed.
Lucky for me, Joe said he'd take a look at it and see if he can fix it for me. Next time you see Joe (Izzy) be sure and rep him for me.
hey everyone!
Im clueless on the license plate. But Ill run the need past a few friends who seem to have the best plates in the states.
How is everyone this morning?
My day is okay just same ol same ol. God felt me worthy enough to put breathe in my lungs so its all good
Took my ex in for oil change OMG I had less than one quart. A year between oil changes is more than I am supposed to have. I really thought it was more recent. OOPS! so i tell them my dipstick is broke off at block and so that means i have to sign waiver. Then the guy asks me about my oil capacity. I was thinking 7 (yes just smack me) I ended up calling my royal sweetness and he said what is was supposed to have. I told them pull off one quart of oil and add one Lucas oil stabilizer. (my exes wonder drug) that took me over half an hour to explain. Then the guy pages me back to desk and shows me Lucas oil additive and says is this what you want instead of one quart oil? I looked at him thinking what part of your schooling did you not sleep through? I said no that is oil stabilizer I always run Lucas Power Steering additive on my crankcase and that oil stuff is what I put in the brake booster. Did you all know I ought not do that? I said put the oil stuff in my crankcase leave out one quart of oil and then check all fluid levels and fill as needed, check tire pressure etc etc etc
Now here comes the good part. I ask for price quote on four new tires. He has to go look at truck. he comes back in and says did you know that you have three different tire brands on your vehicle? I said yes but they are the same size. He questions my wanting 4 all the same tires.....No I think I will put four different ones on it this time add some variety to my life. wow jasper Indiana can put out bitchen engines and trannies but look out for their tire and lube guys. They must be the ones who couldn't cut it at the engine plant.
