Turned out it is a 94. and to tell you the truth I am not wanting to know much about them. Just looking at it gives me a headache you can't see the dist. can only really feel one side of the cap. supposedly the code it threw was an egr code can only feel the egr not see it. I may keep my idi's forever.

If you give me the code # I can tell you what it is.
Just turn the ignition on-off-on-off-on-ff five times then leave it on.
The check engine light will flash on and off five times and then repeat that. That is 55 which is the to signal the code is working/starting.
Then it will flash the code then flash you a 22 which signals the end of the code "run". You don't need a code reader.
Ok dodge It started with a 12 might have been 22 but I think it was 12 then went to 32 and last was the 55. Then I took the neg cable off and turned the key to crank to clear the codes and rechecked and had the 12 and 55 left the 32 out that time.
Thanks I had found the method for it on a dodge forum but so far no answer on the codes.
Dodge the dodge forum came through 32 is an egr code. Thanks I guess them dodge folks ain't all bad after all and yea 55 is the end code thanks again.
after looking at the location of the dist. and egr valve I think my old junk is going to be around for a long while.
I'll bet the '94-up Dodges can be evil to work on with half of the motor under the cowl.
Actually I'll bet most of a gassers motor is under the cowl. It'll be like working on a van with no dog house cover to remove. The SuperDutys probably aren't any better.
Have fun!
I had to rerplace the EGR on my Wife's '90 Suburban, it was easy.
Drop it off at my house and I'll do it for you, just to for-go the bitchin', LOL!
It would be a long drop.lol
Besides I have a nice warm shop up here but nearly all of my tools are in NM so that part sucks.
I brought it inside last night early and there is still a little snow left in the bed even at 65 degrees in here.
