Unplugged EBPV
I unplugged my EBPV and my truck still idles up when its cold. I thought unplugging the EBPV was suppose to eliminate this. This is really annoying because I spend a considerable amount of time sitting in my truck with it idling and I'm constantly having to tap the brake pedal to bring the R's back down. Even after the truck is completely warmed up it still idles up. What gives?

The idling up is normal, and not related to the EBPV. It has to due with intake air temp and oil temp... if either are below a certain value the truck idles up to keep itself up to a good operating temp. Just leave the high idle alone while you are sitting, it won't hurt anything.

You want the high idle. Continuous low idle can create it's own set of problems. Wetstacking and cylinder washdown issues are extremely rare on the Powerstrokes, all thanks to high idle.
And like Chase said, the EBPV and high idle are two completely separate things.
