Stupid EBPV!

So I unplugged my EBPS and the EBPS is sitting in my toolbox. It's not even on the truck. Yet I can still hear a pulsing hiss sound like the EBPV being shut.

I've got a video of the truck doing it, but I don't know how to upload it.

So what is involved with just gutting that stupid EBPV so I never have to deal with it ever again?

The EPBS has nothing to do with the operation of the EBPV. To disable the EBPV you need to unplug the connector at the base on the turbo pedestal.

The light colored connector seen on this pedestal.

If you did not replace the EBPS with something to plug the tube you will now have an exhaust leak.

It's probably the exhaust hissing out of the now open hole where the sensor used to be.

Edit: Yeah, what Robin (Mr. Busy Fingers) said!!

Thanks, Robin. I'll unplug that and see if it fixes my issue.

But Pete, you either need to plug the hole where the removed sensor is located (cause if you didn't then the exhaust is just traveling up from the manifold thru that tube and exiting the hole) or put the sensor back in and then unplug the connection that Robin posted about. The hissing is probably the exhaust leaking from the EBPS tube.
