It would be handy.I have to leave my truck running with a/c on when I travel with my dog
don't think anybody would be dumb enought to get in the truck with him but you never know
I have heard this talked about before as being a problem for a lot of people on here, but mine will let me. When I get out of the truck, if I hit the lock button on the key fob it will initially lock, but then unlock. If I hit the lock button again, it will lock and stay locked. All of this is with the engine running. I don't know if that is somehting that changed with my 2003 model or what, but I use it all the time. I know this isnt much help, but I thought in case you weren't hitting the button the second time it may be worth a try. Good luck.
Mine will not lock with the key fob while the engine is running. It would be handy though because I travel with my dog as well, and along with Ray, I don't think any one would be dumb enough to get in the truck with him, but there are some REALLY stupid people out there. Hell he wont even let anyone use the pump next to my truck if he is with me at the gas station.
My wife thought she could lock the doors with the engine running and use the kepad to get in.... Thankfully, a nice guy was able to open my back window and reach in the truck.
