Remote control lock delaying
Whenever I try to use the remote to unlock the dr in the morning it takes a little more than a few seconds to unlock. But after the truck runs for a while and I stop and use the remote lock to lock it, it works immediately when I press the button on the remote. It's like it has to warm up!! kind of strange for an electrical problem. I'm thinking its the transceiver. Batteries are new.
Any suggestions anyone????

How would I know if the acuators are going bad or if it is the remote transeiver that needs to be replaced. The remote won't work beyond 10ft. It seems like the door locks are pushing against resistance when they are unlocking.

You could put a meter on the lock wires in the door. If you instantly had voltage on the wires when you pushed the button, but it took awhile for it to lock or unlock, then I would say electrically you are ok, and there is a mechanical problem with the actuator. You could also check out and possibly lube anything you see in the linkage.
