thats what i was thinking, a gallon my bff got a custom color made for his truck but i cant remember how much he needed. these pics are from last years car show, i spent almost 12 hrs detailing this truck
Just going off that website you're at about $400 in just paint materials, not including sandpaper, filler, hardener, thinner, tape, masking paper, filters, glazing, polish, pads.............................................. ..........................................
well it wont be for awhile, still got alot of work ahead of me. i dont care for the price unless i cant find the same color elsewhere. this truck will eventually be totally redone
yea his wasnt professional, the vocational center painted it, but overall its not bad lookin, its a real head turner. he has on offenhouser intake and a 600 cfm holley on a I6 three on the tree. and a 40series flowmaster single in/out. has a really unique sound to it

I agree it looks great.
If the project isn't going to take off for a while, you can pick-up the paint and supplies as you go. I personally have never heard of Kustom Shop paint, but can add I have painted with Dupont which is very high quality and even Rustoleum which even that stuff turns out well.
im just getting ideas, i for sure want that color or as close to it as i can. thats a good idea to pick it up a little at a time, hell my bff his neighbor builds custom bikes, i can prolly get him to spray it for a reasonable price when im ready for it
Not only that, but he may have enough of the thinners, reducers and primers already. You would just need to gather the basecoat. I would ask for some more opinions on whether that color can be sprayed over primer or if it needs a base of white (which would help make it "pop" where a base of orange or yellow might darken it a bit) as well.
