Speedo?

Im building a 1951 f-100 ith a 400 sbc and th350 what kind of speedometer would be good to use i havent switched over chevy into a ford truck before just wondering what other setups people ran with their tach and speedo cable

You can use the stock speedometer. If you don't have one, they are very available as they were also used on Panel Delivery (or some such thing) well into the late 60s. You can got oine at any of the resto-parts houses,

You can take it to a speedometer shop and have a cable made that will conform to the end of the Ford speedometer and Chevy transmission opening, and they will give you the appropriate drive gear for your set up and wheel size. The cable will cost you about $25 in any length you like.

Electric tachs will run off the 12 volt power and hook to the coil for input. They aren't dependent on the vehicle type. So you can get what ever you like.

Panel Delivery? Uh....

P Series PARCEL DELIVERY once used by UPS (thru 1975), and Frito-Lay to name a couple of the 1000's of companies that used them.

Similar in appearance to a Chevrolet Step Van.
