My speedo wobbles and recently decided to stop wobbling and not move at all. Any clues as to what's going on would be great (rebuild advice, suppliers, etc.) Thanks guys
It looks as if your speedo-cable shot craps. Any F-100 shops should have a replacement. I bought mine through a place in Street Rodder magazine. $56.00 bucks, but only to find out that I could have got it through THE PADDOCK Mustang catalog for 1/2 the price.Their # is 1-800-428-4319 You need to get their book in order to compare the ends of the cable connections. Hope this helps. I`ve gotta get another one too.
Mine also does the "wobble" at low speeds, but is steady as a rock at higher speeds. It will fluctuate over 5-7 miles an hour at speeds under 30 miles an hour. Does it need to go the way of some of the other stuff I have found that the previous owner decided to do?
