1.5" angle iron with holes drilled for mounting lights and mounting to core support.

Core support existing hole, then I drilled a new hole right beside it(not shown).

Lights mounted to the bracket and bolted in place.

Lights shining through Roush Grille.

Lights turned off with hood closed.

Headlight pattern on the wall compared to brights.

T-tap into the headlight brights wire(green/black stripe).
http://i690.photobucket.com/albums/v...1233593665.jpg

I didn't want to put a switch anywhere so i just tapped into the wire for the high beams with a T-tap, and used it for the trigger on a 40 amp relay.

Roush Grille= $99.00 on Roush overstock. (super easy 20 minute install)
KC 100W Hilites= $109.00 from Autozone.
Various wiring connections, and flex conduit, to resupply the garage $50.00

When I was adjusting them at night and shut the hood i did notice a little difference in light output, but they are still really bright.

I will have to mess with the photo uploads a little more, I couldn't get it to work that way at first. Thanks for the advice.

That looks great.

I actually plan to do something similar to that on my 2009 F350 when it arrives.

looks pretty cool.

wish my "H" bar grille didn't block so much. otherwise I'd do something similar.

Tylus, you could get somebody's black powdercoated billet grill and do the same thing, i know you want to keep all the black/white goin, it looks good on your truck. i know what you mean about the "H" bar grille I didn't have my truck a month brand new and it had to go.

To anyone else I highly recommend the Roush Grille, yeah it is just chrome over plastic, but for $100 and super clean and easy install you can't beat it.

Tylus,
Hella lights also makes a pretty sweet setup that would look pretty mean on your truck, the reflector turns black when the light is off. That would completely disappear behind a black grill... they are pretty expensive though.
