Does anyone have a decoding list for axles?

 

ever hear of Google? lol....seriously do an internet search for Ford axle codes and you'll find some.

 

If you have a F150 look on your door jam sticker under "Axle". It will be one of the following codes.

19 – 3.55 Non-LS
H9 – 3.55 LS
B6 – 3.73 LS

You can also look on your rear axle differential cover and it will have a tag with the gear ratio.

 

I know about the tags. I was looking for a complete list that I could save for future reference.

 

that above is the list. it's missing the 10.25 axle info, but those are really rare....and they are always 4.10 gears


FTE has a list in the Tech Area...but it's mainly for the 60's to 1997 trucks
