I've had both, and will never have anything other than a crew cab. I'm 6'3 and I hated having to move my seat up and have my knees be in the dash for someone to sit behind me.
If you have another vehicle in the fleet with plenty of room for passengers, get the SC. When the wife and I go out with others, we just take her Grand Cherokee. If your truck is your primary vehicle, then the CC is the way to go. I personally think the SC SB is the most balanced looking version of the Super Duty, but that's just me. They make all the different versions for a reason! Go with your first instinct. It's usually right.
Another vote for crew cab, had another model(Dudge) with the supercab doors, worked for a time until my family grew. Plus if you ever need to stretch out from being road tired you got plenty of room back there.
If you have kids....CC all the way. You also have room to crash if you have had some drinks. Better yet you have a rolling home if the old lady kicks your tail out.
On the other hand if you are going to offroad the heck out of it....CC might not be the best bet.
I love the crew cab on mine! With the steps on it my 5 year old little girl can open the door and climb right in without a problem. She just walks right across to her car seat! I actually put off the purchase of a truck for many years because I wasn't going to settle for anything with less room! I bought my present truck even though I didn't like the LB on it.

2005 F350 Crew LB PSD
I disagree. Without the pillars and free-floating doors it would creak, pop and moan like my F-150 SuperCab did. Crew Cab is the way to go. My breakover point is terrible with a 13' wheelbase, but its' a small price to pay to have legroom all day. Plus there's enough room for my kids without sliding my seat up so that I eat my knees. Holding out for a crew cab was well worth it and I'll never go back. Even when the kids aren't there, I've got plenty of room to haul people and stuff (even if my seats don't fold or have a slide-out tray).
There are two kinds of people, the ones that have the crew cab, and the ones that wish they had gotten the crew cab. [just kidding] I just bought an 08 cc with a long bed and like all the room inside, and it is quiet and comfortable, I have had other trucks and vans, but I like the cc the best. Parking is an adventure sometimes, especially with a winch bumper on the front, but it is worth the trouble.
Crew Cab only. Super cabs have a horrible resale, and eventually the doors become loose and rattle. No good. And the turning radius?? most people who buy the super cab get the long bed, and most people with the crew cab get the short bed. Turning radius is the exact same. and 05+ who cares, they have a coil suspension, they have a great turning radius. you guys with 04 and down are missin out.

I think this should be, "there are two kinds of people, the ones that have the crew cab, and the ones that got the right truck"! (Just kidding) LOL. Opinions on which cab is best are like 'poop shoots'; everybody has one. I still say it goes back to what YOUR needs are.
I agree with going back to what your needs are. When I looked at trucks before buying mine, I looked at Supercabs but the rear-facing car seats would not fit in the back. That's why I got the Crew Cab. Ever since then, I've been really thankful that those seats wouldn't fit back there.
Yeah most the trucks in our family/friends are all regular cab long beds. Heck my truck now is a regular cab and I often haul the wife (not so petite either...) and 2yr old son with car seat in my regular cab - and that only a 150 (smaller) and a stick shift too. Of course the reason I'm on this thread is that I am contemplating a new truck - scab or crew SD. I had no real interest in the crew except now I hear about rattling doors and the poor seatbelt placement makes me wonder.
I have a supercab. It's great, but my next one will be a crew. The backwards doors are nice for loading awkward/big stuff but I have to really slam them or they rattle on rough roads.
Well I had a 2002 F350 SC 4x4 SB it was a tank to turn around and my one kid had his knees in his face and I had a very fragile little girl who had to ride up in one of the front seats and she was not comfortable. Traded that in on a 2006 F250 with the same GVW CC 4x4 SB and lariet package I would never have a super cab if I planned on over two people being in the cab and the turning radius of the '06 is much better then the '02. Now that is from someone who has had both and traveled with people in the cab the CC is the way to go more room, better ride, and much easier to get in and out of the back seat.

If that is how you feel why are you here giving us your opinion? We are just talking to a guy about buying a truck.
