I don't know anyone that can fit a Super Duty in their garage, more power to ya if you can. I've never had to park a vehicle outside until the SD. Even a short bed super cab wouldn't fit in my garage.
To each his own, I have a super and my son has a crew, both 8 ft beds, the crew seems more solid as far as the doors and I'm sure the cab integrity but the super is easier to get around in. If I had a choice I would probably go with the crew but it's not worth it to me to sell mine and get a crew, mine does it's job nicely.
I've owned a super cab '98 F150 myself, drive a supercab '01 F150 eveyday at work, now own a crewcab '05 F250, and we have an '06 F350 supercab here at work. Every one of the supercabs shake and rattle like crazy over any kind of rough road because the structure isn't anywhere near as solid as it should be(the '98 wasn't as bad-it was a 3-door). My crewcab is solid as a rock and doesn't do this. The biggest problem I have with the supercab is the seatbelts. They're terribly uncomfortable because they are located in the side of the seat instead of the door pillar. Instead of simply draping across my shoulder from the pillar like my crewcab does(my '98 F150 was like this too),they come out of that seat and then pull down across my shoulder in a most uncomfortable manner. You tall guys out there know what I'm talking about. So,if you're more than 6ft tall, you'll hate the supercab after a while from just the seatbelt anchor points.

I like my Supercab because it is slightly shorter, making parking, manuvering and such a little easier. The suicide doors though are an issue when two people are getting out on one side, and your parked close to another vehicle. Had a few awkward "where do we go" moments with them so far.
I wanted a crew, for the usefulness, but like the SC look better!
I have a 09 Super Cab sceduled to be built on 3rd week Feb. Starting to think that I should get a Crew Cab? They just seem so big, or is it me. What is some opions on this. Thanks.
I have a crew cab/long box and theres been a few times during preperations for road trips and for work duties that I would have liked it to be even bigger than it is.
I think if you're second guessing your super crew than there is a pretty good chance that you might allready know you need or want the crew cab.
IMO. for someone with kids get a crew cab. for two people a super cab is a good and has enough room for junk and dogs. I debated between a super cab and regular cab. I went with the super just for the extra in door junk collector room.

Maybe you should always put an attractive member of the opposite sex directly behind you, then you could use that awkward moment as an opportunity! Huh, I guess that's a pro and a con for the super cab
I have a Super cab and short bed and love it my dad has a 97 extend cab long bed and we take our tucks up hunting and the extend cab long bed is nice but way to long to try and turn around i have more room in side mine and have a better turning radius than he does and i dont have to crawl back in the back seat to get something out i can open a door like it a lot and do not have any need for a crew cab

Funny you mention this, last time this happened it was my GFs sister... Come to think of it, the time before was the GFs best friend...
Hmmm. Guess it was a plus to get the SC over the CC?
My passengers are 2 dogs: a 40lb. Blue Heeler and a 95lb. Akita. CrewCab is all I'll ever own, even when they're gone. It's totally a personal preference thing, but I just don't like the rear doors on the SuperCab. If I've got something on the back seat, I'd have to open the front door first, then the back one. And if it's raining... UGH. Again, personal preference, but I will always go Crew.
To me it looks normal. Long beds behind supers look to weird.
All my kids are gone, so no one rides back there. Except maybe
Jane (The beagle) It is better then a reg cab. Groceries, and othe purchased Items stay secure.
If you take alot of people around or with you, then crew is a give, but if not super cab is plenty.
