I wonder, this pickup i'm working on buying, the carfax states it was stolen twice (I think the second may have been when it was repo'd) well, it makes me wonder, are there lots of similar keys for these? I hope they're not like the toyota picukps, from about 90-98 or something, they only made 5 keys.
Sorry to hear this. Hopefully it turns out well for you, but at the same time, I understand about not wanting it back if they drove it hard or screwed something up.
Good Luck.
That is without a doubt one of the nicest looking trucks I've seen! I'd be super pizzed if it were mine and had been taken How did they get around the alarm? Best of luck finding it, but I completely agree about not wanting it back if the morons that stole it trashed on it.
OT, but who made the bumpers? Those are very nice.
EDIT- checked out your gallery and saw that they are made by Fab Fours.
Thanks guys, no word yet from the local authorities. The alarm was an Astro start 2wa w/starter kill. Not sure how they got around it. The truck is also set to extreme street, and with icy roads, hope the idiot knows how to drive..... Thanks for all the comments guys, much appreciated.
I'll keep an eye out in Calgary for any of those aftermarket parts. Some very nice looking gear attached to that truck.
Hopefully this is one of those situations where the authorities find that truck quick or never at all. Better to get the insurance money to replace it than to get it back all thrashed out...
Man I HATE people that rip off people! I hope this turns out better for you...As for them...not enough BAD things can happen to them. They're just lower than pond scum. The authorites told you their losing 10 trucks a WEEK!?!? And haven't caught ANYONE?!?!?
Man I am sorry to hear about your truck. I wouls seriously consider a ravelco. I had one in my 86 ford f-150 pickup and it was broken into 6 yes 6 times and they were never able to defeat the ravelco plug.
