where is it located?? i wanted to unplug it..In doing this will it throw a check engine light?? I think mine be sticking shut sometimes....eventually i wanna get a high flow outlet and non ebpv pedestal with garretgpr38
its on the very bottom of the pedestal, behind intake "Y" you cant miss it...and no it wont throw SES light, i didnt have mine for years and only had soft code no SES ...
ok monday i'm going to take a look, soo if i stand on the passenger fron tire i can miss it by looking down there? i'm guessing its ikn front and not behind the pedestal?
well no innoying noises, and no affect on hi idle..., maybe better flow if you remove it. Vans dont have EBPV valves, theu used for faster worming of the engine. EPA bullsit

what is the differance if i just unplug my ebp-sensor, "in front of my hpop", is it connected to that. or is this something completely differant?
they are different. the plug on the pedestal is actually the switch for activating the valve. the one on the hpop is for sensing temps to activate the above said switch.....

so would unhooking just the SENSOR de-activate the valve?
