Gotta love salaried jobs, lots of overtime, but no extra pay!
Actually I'm very fortunate. I don't usually have to work much overtime and when I do, I get CTO for it. Only hour for hour unless it's an afterhours call in, then its 3 hrs per call in. But that doesn't happen often. I did get lots of overtime when I had to go to Nova Scotia back in Sept. Had a six days off with pay!
It was nice as I tagged it onto the week I had booked off a few months before that. So I ended up with two weeks off. My job is pretty good. It's almost like a government job and I can say that since I was one of them government employees for more than long enough!
Non gov job with all the benefits of one, now thats awesome lol!
I certainly won't complain. Especially since everything is slowing down a bit around here. Not much but just enough to make people appreciate the jobs the still have.
