tranny filter question

i bought my truck 3 years ago with 89,000 miles (has in line filter). i did a tranny flush last year, put new in line filter along with regular filter. "knock on wood" but i havent' had a single tranny issue since purchase. i plow snow and pull light duty trailors, 5000 pounds. 110,000 miles and about to log off to go outside and add to odometer!!!!

It used Mercon before. Now Ford licenses only Mercon V. Use what you can find. 17.7qts. Disregard warnings in the manual about Mercon V. Ford says it is now fully compatible.

No need for the Lucas. We've seen documentation that it isn't as wonderful as its manufacturer claims it to be.
As Mike said above, Mercon V. I've seen it labeled with something to the effect: "For use in transmissions that formerly used Dexron III/Mercon".

then, yes, that will do the job nicely.
A healthy trans shouldn't require any stop-slip stuff.
