Good highway tire for SD

I didn't want to say anything, but since others are speaking up ; I have bought a couple of sets of tire that I think are made by cooper sold by a local dealer here sold under the name courser rt or something like that. On one set of tires I had on a truck I didn't use much and 3 of the four threw the tread off and the other set two of them went out of round. These were 10ply rated tires and I bought them because they were a wholesale company and gave my business a good price. I guess you get what you pay for, but they did replace them under warranty though.

The Michelins have pretty excellent reviews. Was going to put those on next, when my budget disappeared overnight, and I'm in the process of using up my spare set of Conti's instead. I previously ran Michelins on an undisclosed luxury sports coupe and was really happy with them. Good traction, good handling and lasted as long as my next three sets of performance tires. Let us know what you end up with and how it works out. Would love to get an update after they'd been run a few thousand miles. :-)

You have to look fairly close and it helps for the tire to be clean. I take pretty good care of my tires and look over and check air regularly so I catch any problems. Most people don't pay much attention to there tires, which in your line of work I'm shure you know all to well.
