I'm located in the Northwest Corner of the state surrounded by rocks and trees and critters. Sometimes it is too quiet since the nearest neighbor is far away.
An ex-military type who now works for a living and really enjoys a simple 8 to 10 hour day with holidays and weekends off! The large number of military types in this Chapter know exactly what I am talking about.
Perhaps we can do a meet out here in the wilderness sometime after the cold weather passes by. I'm a member of the Northwest Connecticut Sportsman's Association and we put on *many* public events centered around outdoor sports.
Things coming up are a Kid's Fishing Derby (only kids can fish and they will pull in decent size trout), a Women Gone Wild event (Women's introduction to the shooting sports - guys are only spectators), Junior Marksmanship Training, Turkey Shoots, Archery Shoots, Trap Shoots and just about any other possible event that the Club members can dream up.
If there is any interest, I can post the event schedule for the coming year when it is finalized (it is set in jello right now).
