Good Morning,
My name is Jim Bush. I live in Mansfield Center. My truck is a 2002 F-350 7.3L Lariat 4x4 CC SRW LWB. I ordered it from the factory in 12/01. It has 263,000 miles and is still going strong. It is a daily driver and is used to pull a 20' gooseneck horse trailer. We raise, train and field trial birddogs. I thought about buying a new F-350 but can't justify what they want for a new one - double what I paid for the 2002. So I am working to get it to 100% and then tuning for more power. Mods so far - Banks Ram Air Intake, Walker BTM, 08 Rear Differential Cover. Will be replacing Front Differential Cover with one from Riff Raff's. Changing all the fluids and doing the flushes.
I am a retired Navy Master Chief. I rode submarines for 25 years - 1980 to 2005. I work for Electric Boat down at the SUBASE in Groton. Now instead of riding submarines, I dock them.
I am interested in working on projects and learning more about these trucks.

Welcome to the loony house, I mean the CT FTE chapter
Recent Ford convert (No GMs ever again) from Preston, CT. I have a 2000 F250 XLT 5.4L that I'm in the process of restoring. Not too difficult as it was in pretty good shape to begin with. Currently have the bed off. Removing rust and replacing parts. New springs are here too. Going to be a great fall. The 250 is my third F-series truck (83 F100 Custom, 92 F150 XLT).
Moved back to CT after my time in the Army. Lucky enough to have kept all the important pieces. Like a few others here, I work for Electric Boat.
