That was awesome! I cant hear the Anthem without tearing up....
I thought she did an awesome job!
Glad the weather is decent enough Cris, nice to work in the yard without feeling like your dieing.
When it gets around 80 here the humidity is usually a little high so you just sweat...Nothing like in the south, but still.... When we go to Eastern WA I can work when it's 100 degree's, since the humidity is nothing...Here, 75-80 and I'm done for....
Mornin' folks. I'm at the customer's site finishing testing today, and had a couple minutes to spare. I sort of bailed last night -- I figured I better quit before I got in trouble. AGAIN. LOL....
I can't stand Idol either. I hate the 'tards that can't sing, and I couldn't care less who wins. Although, I have to give props to the Idol winner that sung the National Anthem at the Superbowl (I don't even remember her name ). She did a hell of a job, and brought a tear to my eye. I can hardly listen to the National Anthem being sung without tearing up a little, especially when it's done with such heart & soul...
You should have seen me during the Olympics last summer, I was a mess every time we won a gold metal. lol.
There has been a couple of great singers to come out of idol, Carrie Underwood and Kelli Pickler are the ones I listen to the most.

I shiver much better than I sweat.... unless I am working on the truck, then I don't mind sweating my *** off.
A man and his wife were sitting in the living room discussing a “Living Will”
"Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine
and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
His wife got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all the beer.

The deep south is bad, Ive spent my fair share in that crap. Here lately in VA its been pretty bad as well. Take a shower and walk outside for 5 minutes and you feel like you need to go back inside and take another shower!

Screw that crap. I grew up in FL (doesn't get much more humid than that), and because it's humid, it doesn't get terribly hot. Humid air heats and cools much slower than dry air. Max of 96 or 97 and humidity in the 90s. I'll take that over 100+ BS any day. Iraq was like 7%-10% humidity, and I HATED it. Bloody noses, and when you walk outside, it felt like an oven. Y'all can have it!!!!
