Funny thing I've noticed about people in CO - Snow, cold weather, wind, just about any weather they'll go outside..... except for rain. I can walk the dogs for HOURS and not see another person on foot. My buddy's wife is a native and when I asked her about it she said "Why would I go outside when it's raining??" Ummmm... why not? You take showers, don't you? LOL It's like AZ natives seeing snow. Or if my dad (the EPITOME of city-boy) were to 1) go hiking and 2) see a moose.
I might be doing up-pipes this weekend if you want to help out... LOL. If it stays this cold then I'll be waiting on that.
Uhh yeah, thats because we're not used to the rain. It doesn't rain very often if you haven't noticed. Also the rain here tends to be extremely cold...not warm like it is in other places in the country.
up pipes huh? I think I got a pretty full weekend ahead of me. The fam is excited I am back in town and they have a bunch of things planned.
