Have you tried 1000mg+ of Glucosamine? It probably won't "fix" it, but helps with joints, etc. It's been awesome for my "skier bump"
Ive heard about it but was skeptical on if it really works or not. My ankle kills me when I first get out of bed(stiff as hell) and when I recline in the recliner with foot hanging off the end. Other than that it doesnt bother me too much during normal activities.
Does the stuff really work?!

In a word to both: YES. It's basically what your body already makes to help lube your joints, so a little extra helping is good! I don't take it daily but I did the other night for my skier bump (and Ibuprofen as well, but that was for the swelling that was still there) and, well, I break it down like a MOD:
Tuesday morning - Skier bump still swelled up some, tender to the touch. Hurts some to get in/out of car/truck
Tuesday 7:00PM - dinner (prime rib fajitas... YUM!) - with 1000mg of glucosamine & 400mg of ibuprofen
Wednesday 3:30AM - hip movement easier (watch out ladies!! LOL) and running MUCH more comfortable - skier bump swelling reduced, tenderness almost completely gone
Wednesday 8:00AM - 1000mg of glucosamine & 400mg of ibuprofen with some breakfast
Wednesday 2:40PM - skier bump pretty much gone, no tenderness in local area
For my age I still have a stupid high metabolism & energy levels, so I do tend to heal a bit quicker, but still, it will help! I wouldn't take more than 1500mg of glucosamine in a 24hr period though. Like anything, you can overdo it. You can get glucosamine just about anywhere, but since I give it to Logan to help guard against hip displaysia, I get the big bottle from Sam's Club/Costco.
Also, one other that may help is Alpha Lipoic Acid. It helps with muscle recovery, and while it may not be the thing that hurts, your muscles are helping to carry the load since your joints aren't 100%. 200mg/day is a max for that one. Glucosamine I'd have in the house 24/7.
Yea, thanks! Ill. definitely look into it when I go back into town!
Just got a call from my mother. She is pissed! Our governor gave 1 million dollars of our VA tax money(major shortfall)to the food bank. Shes goin up there tomorrow and getting some food...so she says! She called me for directions...
I haven't scanned any of me in yet but am working on it. I did find one of Cody that I want to share. I've said before that I raised Cody by myself and did it all. I picked outfits and made sure that everything matched, did hair, sang along to Barney, all of it.
Anyway, here's Cody, five years old and in kindergarten. That cat is a Siamese that we had for 12 years. Her name was Nala (cody named her from The Lion King movie) and Cody and her were inseperable. This was taken one bay after school, close to Thanksgiving, hence the bonnet type thingy...
Brent..as much as things change, the more they stay the same. Why am I not surprised the picture you posted shows you butt *** naked? lolol
Not nekkid, I actually have clothes on in this picture..
And here I am, spaced out as usual. Big bow stuck on my head.
Brent I think we had the same carpet as you guys LOL!
Nice!! I think you did! Cute pics, I love the bow in your hair. I have one of me pressing my butt against the window of the living room also but thats just not pretty....My Mom tells me whenever I would have a bath I would run away from her and stick it on the glass!!! Maybe I was supposed to have a different career?
