And now that winter is here it reads 25#. How could I check my gauge? Maybe with a compressor and a regulator?
That's exactly how I'd do it....

I'm gonna see if I can get an SES light with the new pcm, if not I'll be heading to lowes to get some fittings to check the gauge. (I know you prolly think I'm full of chit lol, but I really have been getting those readings.)

How do you like the codes tunes Jim. I've got a boost fooler made, I just haven't made a bracket for it yet.

The codes tunes are nice. I tried to throw the ses light and haven't been able to do it!
I have the fooler but no bracket. I also have a bunch of resistors to make up a AIH delete fooler. I have to solder them up.

Cleaned all boots.

No exhaust leaks.
Swapped out 3 or 4 different gauges.

I don't think you're full of chit, I just think you're getting bogus readings. Unless you have a flashed PCM and don't know it, you shouldn't be getting anywhere near those numbers in stock tuning. Especially since you're not getting codes. I'm reasonably sure the older PCM still threw codes & defueled at 22 & 25psi respectively (I just don't know that for sure), so that's why I say that.

I haven't had a chance to get out on the highway yet. Heading over to a buddy's house I did hit 24# and no SES. I didn't have enough road to get to 25. I'll post back later when I can get a highway run.

Sounds right if you don't have any aftermarket chip/programming.

Who cares? It is a soft code and does not affect the truck at all. The only time I clear it is when I run a contribution test because I have to or the test will not run.

Well, I didn't get any where near a highway today. I did make it to Lowe's and got enough fittings to hook a compressor to my boost gauge. I'll check it out tomorrow before I install the tugger.

You are 100% right Mike. I got the idea to make them up after reading the thread where Curtis was having this issue.
