idle issues!
when i first start my 97psd she will idle normal for about a min. then she'll idle high - if i tap on the pedal she'll come back down only to come up again!this should be a an easy one for you guys!

cold weather programming, its normal, the ebp valve should kick on too.

Never heard of an OBS having high idle. I don't think this is normal.

before i installed the superchip in mine it would do it. my idle would bump up and the valve would close. not to 1200 or anyting crazy like that but the idle would raise a few hundred rpm

Katie's (Missy) does it to. i noticed it idles at bout 8 or 900 like the SD's. it should be normal. i wish mine did it lol she just lopes and then smooths out to 600

I don't think it is normal, and I saw in his sig that he has a superchip already in. I wish I had a high idle

I wish mine did to. I started mine up today at 25°F. Starts up just fine, but it lopes like mad until I start down the highway.

I've been considering adding a manual high idle switch. Both for cold starts, and for camper battery charging.

Yep that makes a difference. The Super Duty's do have a high idle.......

my 94.5 kicks up the idle to 900 when cold. ebpv should come on but the solinoid is stuck. AFAIK it is still running stock programming.

is there a way to disable my ebpv on my 97psd, it use to make a hiising sound, but now its still hissing with a very deep growling sound, any idea what that added sound is?
