I misunderstood your post.

Check fuse 19 under hood, 20A Maxi fuse for fuel pump motor.

Is there power to the + post? You have to be quick on that one, turn on the key and test it within 7 seconds or so.
Do you hear it running?

The fuel pump will not run without signal from PCM to control it. There is a fuel pump monitoring lead from the pcm. Hook up PCM, make sure fuse is ok, and attempt a start. If fuse blows you may have a bad pump, shorted pump motor winding.

Edit: Before you try to start turn key on, you should here pump run for about 20 seconds. The Walbro is harder to hear then the stock pump.

It could be the fuel shut off switch. It is in the passenger side kick panel.

No need to start truck to est to see if pump will run. You can always run a hot lead off the battery to see if the new pump works. If it doesn't run then the - or ground lead is bad or the pump is bad.

Do you have a volt meter. Check to see if the + lead is hot with the key on. Also check the - lead for ground. Also ceck to make sure pump motor winding is not shorted.
