Will an 05' radio work?
Seen something on this a little while back and the search came up with nothing to really answer my question. Will an 05' audio unit work in our trucks without any wiring issues?

Fitment= no. The stock radio is a "din and a half", and the new ones are much taller, double dins. You can squeeze a double din into a stock dash though with some modifications to parts of the dash you cant see.

And the wiring harness will be different as well. youll need the newer style harness. Best Buy or any car stereo shop will carry them. What I would do is buy a foward harness that fits your truck now and then buy the reverse harness of the new style, wire the 2 together and then youll be all plug and play, it will be MUCH MUCH easier that way rather than cutting out the harness already there and wiring in the new style.
