It turned to snow by the time it got here! If you want to see a traffic nightmare, it's when there is 1/2" of snow in NM.

Standy eman...from what they have been saying on the weather reports the snow level is dropping to below 2,000 ft tomorrow and another 2 inches of rain. I don't know how much snow equates to an inch of rain but the foothills should be white soon.
I don't know how the guys in the cold weather areas get any work done...it gets a little rainy and the temp drops below 55 and I don't even feel like picking up a tool in the garage.

Snow cold

We have been having minus 40 degree C or F take your pick, same thing. With has been snow. We are driving south this week until we don't see snow anymore, but by the sound of things that is going to be a ways.

I know that whatever weather we get here on the West coast, the midwest and East coast will see in the next few days. The rain is bad enough, I wouldn't want to see what this looks like when it blows through a cold area.

I flew from Chicago to LA last night/early this morning. It's dog flop Wx all the way. BIG BIG BIG cold front coming down from the north pulling Pacific Moisture in south of SoCal. Rains on California, turns to snow in the "Four Corners," then to absolute misery in Missouri.

I'd really hate to be in Buffalo tomorrow! (Go Bills - kill the Bronco's sunday!)

J!

Yup, grew up in North College Hill and went to Roger Bacon HS before enlisting in the Navy. Left Cincy in June, '68 and never looked back. I was back there in September of this year for my 40th HS reunion...man those guys I went to school with sure have gotten old! I remember the winters there and watching the Rose Parade on TV in January...I thought "who are these guys trying to kid, no place on earth is sunny and warm in January!", they must have taped this parade last summer! If it weren't for the Navy I'd probably still be there freezin' my tail off.
