The other day i went down to the local mud hole after the rain was gone. I wen out the just to see what it looked like after all the rain we had here. After just a feww minutes of kickin up some mud and water my truck started to sputter when i gave it gas. It did this for about 3 mile then it was fine. What made it do this. Did water get in it some how? It is a 82 f-150 300 i-6. Thanks
The easyest way i found to stop the distrtibutor from getting wet on the inside is to use some silicone sealanton on the inside ring.just make sure your distrtibutor can still breath. I learned the hard way.
