edge programer
i have a question about the edge evolution / gryphon.... i know that the evolution does not support a custom tune and the gryphon does... but say all you have is the evolution and you get a cat back exhaust or a cai mod will this mess with the evolution stage 1,2 or 3??

My question is,I bought a 2002 F250 PowerStroke,it came with now cat from the factory. I put KnN air Kit,and a 5 inch exhaust on it,the only other thing i want to do to it is a bigger tranny cooler.Do you think the Evolution will work ok without the cat.

To both you guys with the EDGE questions: take a hard look at the Gryphon, Hardware is the same as the Edge, and if you need to make adjustments in the future you can. I can tell you first hand that I have talked to both Corey and Bill (PHP) and a Edge rep before I bought, and the PHP service can't be beat. If you are going add any mods, or have them now, don't take the chance of might having a problem, call PHP and know your truck will be safe.
I have the Gryphon, and am currently running the canned tunes, I tried level 2 , and am currently running level 3, and it is great, I can't wait to get my custom tunes. I was real scaried of programing my truck, but I am so glad I did.
