From my research, I don't see an Edge Evolution or Gryphon that will work with my V6, 4.2L F-150 (1999)...and that can be integrated into my dash.

I like the styling of the Evolution and Gryphon as they're nicely integrated/mounted onto the dash.

Am I correct, no "nice looking" mounted tuners available for my 4.2L?

I believe there are some good tuners that aren't "mounted" that will work with my truck.

I would just call the guys at Power Hungry and ask them if they can help you out.

 

i wouldnt recommend edge anyway.... they wont help with my problems so even if they made one i wouldnt buy it.

 

Look into SCT Livewire or X3. True Lw does not look flush mount but it functions very well...

Power Hungry Performance is able to upgrade the Edge Evolution to a Gryphon (our private-labeled Evos that we purchase from Edge) so that it can be custom tuned to your modifications. What problems are you having?

You're right... we don't currently have a programmer for a 4.2L. We may have something later in the year, as a customer of ours has offered to let us play with his truck while he's deployed.

Actually, Groovy Chick is partly correct. We do not offer a programmer for the late model 4.2L, but we do support the 97-03 4.2L. If you are interested, give us a call and we'll see what we can do for you.
