I have to agree with you 100% Brandon!
However, I've got an idea for the OT, but not sure if it would solve the issue...even though I'm not 100% sure what it is. Okay, here's my idea: create an Off Topic sub-forum inside of our 7.3 Tech section. In there, we could post whatever we wanted, different threads and such, but it would all be OT and pretty much just accessed by the 7.3 folks. Could that sub-forum be excluded from searches as well...I don't know, but possibly. I've seen sub-sub-forums on other sites that use vBulliten, so I would think it's at least possible. Basically, make a GNA sub-section in the 7.3 Tech area for us to have our "campfire" and different "family" discussions. What do you all think?

Lisa what kind of gauges do you have there? I would replace your GPR before I would do the GPs and see it that helps it did mine. BTW I think the narrator sounds pretty darn cute

Check out the Optima thread up in the tech section I wouldn't bother with them.
I agree the Motorcrafts tend to last a pretty good while I got Deka's in there now but when the mechanic replaced them when he came and got my truck at the hospital because my messed up alternator drained them when I had my daughter he put in 650 CCAs and they show during cold mornings.

Homemade Coffee Liquor Recipe:
Remove from heat, cool for half an hour.
Slowly add in the dry instant or fresh ground coffee, stirring continuously.
Add vanilla to the alcohol (vodka or rum), pour into gallon jug.
Combine cooled sugar syrup and coffee mixture with the vodka or rum in gallon jug.
Cover tightly, and shake every day for three weeks. Store in cool, dark place.
After three weeks, remove vanilla bean (if used) and strain coffee grounds (if fresh ground coffee was used). Discard vanilla bean and coffee grounds.
- 4 cups water
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 cups alcohol (vodka for Kahlua, rum for Tia Maria)
- 1 cup dry instant coffee, or 1/2 cup fresh ground coffee (dark brew provides stronger coffee flavor) While fresh ground coffee leads to tastier Kahlua and Tia Maria later, it is also a bit more work intensive down the road.
- 1 whole vanilla bean, or 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp caramel coloring, if desired

Guages? Stock of course...lol.
GPR was replaced recently. Believe me if the GPR wasn't working the truck wouldn't have even considered starting with that kind of cold. -3, -17 with windchill. I am pretty excited she started at all!

Most nights I put it on a timer so that it gets about 3 hours on the plug before I go anywhere.
Last night I kept it unplugged on purpose. wanted to see if she'd start.
