Regarding tire pressures, i run my truck empty most of the time, I have 8 ply 285/70/17 inch tires, and i run at 45-50 psi. Tires are wearing great so far, although I MIGHT have a white letter cracking issue in the near future. Goodyear silent armours.
I was actually pondering the nitto's for my next set of tires too. Either that or those toyo open country muds, or whatever they are called.
Im extremly happy with my goodyears, but the service from the goodyear dealer i go to is getting pretty bad, so Im pretty much gonna try a different set of tires due to that.
I have ProComp Xtreme ATs 37x13.50's now, had 35's, and had to go with the sma tire just bigger with the way the 35's were wearing. I have ran the PCs for a couple of years and have not had the problems I had with other brands (chuncking off or cracking).
I run 45 psi front and 40 psi rear, and not showing any adverse wear as of yet, My 35" liked 50 psi and 40 to get the best fuel economy and wear.
